My name is Joerd Hysa, and I am standing as your Local Conservatives candidate for Green Street West.
I am asking residents to look back honestly at what has happened to our area and to our country. People were promised one thing, and they were misled. Many residents feel let down and are being squeezed harder every council decision. Taxes seem to go up every time it rains — and, unfortunately, in the UK it rains quite a lot.
This election is about common sense, accountability, and change. It is about backing people who will speak plainly, work hard, and stand up for local residents rather than making excuses. Conservatives have shown before that there is a better option: one based on responsibility, value for taxpayers, safer streets, stronger communities, and respect for the people who pay for public services. We were on track to bringing the country to be one of the best to live in.
